December / Quilt #12 Completed!

I have exciting news folks! Well, it's pretty exciting for me :) We have successfully completed another paper quilt. In 2007, this would have been the "December Quilt," but I have renamed it to be "Quilt #12." You can view all of the artwork close-up here.

Hi Folks,

We have a couple of new openings in the project :) I'm going to go through my inbox this weekend to see if I can find a few artists who have made submissions to the project. If you wish to make a submission, please do so soon. I hope to have all the artists I need for the project by the end of next week.

This Just In...

The amazing Matt Cipov has just announced that he will be selling prints of the artwork he created for the Paper Quilt Project in his Etsy Shop! Run and grab a copy of this cool piece as individual prints will not be sold here.

A Big Thanks & Welcome!

Thank you all for your submissions to the project. I'm sorry I am unable to write back to all of you, but the amount of submissions has been incredible. I am slowly, but surely looking for an artist to fill the last spot in the project. Please be patient and understanding with me. I am just a single gal running this show :) I do truly appreciate the support I have been receiving for the project and am extremely grateful for your kind words. Thank you from the bottom of my heart :)

Lastly, I just want to give a big welcome to a few artists to the project:

Both Pin Pal girls will be joining us for Quilt #6. Hooray! Welcome Sam and Sarah! In addition, Pergylene Acuña from the Philippines has also joined the project! I'm very happy to have you be apart of this amazing project! Welcome :)

We're almost there folks! Not only do we have nearly all the artists we need, the artwork is coming in fast and the quilts are filling up quickly! It's exciting to think about it and I cannot wait to see every quilt completed.

It is amazing to me how much progress has been made over the past few months. Thanks to all the Paper Quilt artists who have placed their faith in me to make this project into something grand. Every time I look back and admire all of the artwork that has been sent in for this project, I feel extremely grateful that so many talented artists were so willing to participate. Especially now that it's been years since the end of the initial project, many of you still believe in the project and that makes me heart melt. I just wanted to let you all of you know how happy you have all made me feel and how appreciative I am to have you be apart of PQP. Thank you so much!

Before I go, I want to welcome a new artist to the project, Jinnie Lee of Lilacmoon Studio. Welcome Jinnie!!
